My how time flies when you are having fun!

So it has been a while since an update around these parts. So way back in March a few of us headed down to Socal to visit the master of Mini, Jan for some much needed upgrades.  I have installed a few parts over the last little while so I just wanted him to make them work together!  So that is what he did.  He was able to get my MINI bumped up to 219 HP and 199 Ft/trq, which blows my mind!  I have not known power until now!

New MiniUtah.com

After using the same old program for a while now, MiniUtah.com has been upgraded. Took a while to get things working correctly but I think it is mostly there.

Lunch!

Posted on January 15th, 2009 by by roggen

So since Rob is no longer a Sandy worker local, we have to schedule when we get to eat.  It has kind of been few and far between, mostly because of the holidays.  But now that it is a new year we are going to have to do it more often.  Today we went to the good ol’ Chipotle there on State and almost 106 south.  The food was good, but the drive there was much better.  I have to say that I am quite envious of the power his MINI is putting to the ground.  Keep it up man.

Roggen, out!

Since the world of the wide web never stands still I have made a few updates to the old W&B site.  You will now notice that pictures have been enhanced!  I am looking for other things to improve on.  Give it time friends!

After seeing a speical on the food network about the pancake house I decided we needed to eat there, so the rally was on. We met there and got seated to a delicous meal of deletable breakfast eats. I have to say that I really enjoyed my self, food was good and the company was awesome.

Fastcarting!

Posted on August 7th, 2008 by by roggen

So for a work team building thing at work we all went to the fastcart indoor track. Is was a real blast. Got to compete against my co-workers. I didn’t get the tastes of the day but it was still fun. Kind of sucks the the diference between the fastest and me was only a few tenths of a second. Maybe next time.

IC testing goes ary!

Posted on July 23rd, 2008 by by roggen

So Rob and I attempted to do the End all be all intercooler testing last Saturday.  Every thing seemed to be going according to plan.  We had the temp sensors installed in the air stream and seemed to be getting accurate readings.  When all of the sudden the outlet side started jumping all over the board.  We went back to Rob’s house and pulled the IC off and Lo and Behold the tabs had broken off of the wires!  One of the tabs was sitting in the IC but the other was nowhere to be found!  We spent the next couple of hours trying to recover the missing tab from Intense’s motor!  We ended up pulling the Sparkplugs to see if we could see traces of metal.  Didn’t find any.  So we then pulled the Fuel Rail to see if we could see anything trough the injector holes.  Nothing.  Next we got a mirror and looked in the horn and found the little sucker sitting in the bypass valve!  We were not able to get it out with simple methods so we ended up having to remove the horn and the Throttle body to get it thing out.  After a couple of hours we finally did get it out and back together, and everything seemed to be functioning as normal.  Thank the maker!

Intense Gets Older or is it Wiser?

So I was riding with Rob the other day when Intense flipped over to 30000 miles.  What a mile stone!  Glad I was able to share in the glorious moment!
