And it happened today, the new iPad has landed at an apple store near you, and one happened to land in my lap! So far I am loving it. It seems to be he perfect mix of iPhone and laptop. I think I will really like it for reading books. My wife has been wanting to get an ebook reader, but now I think she will be getting an iPad as well.
Hopefully the new apps will just get better and better!
It is that time again. Another season to motor. To kick things off we have made the long trek to Las Vegas for a weekend of motoring! This year it is being hosted at a new hotel, a much nicer hotel, but still in the Station family. Once I get some pics I will upload them.

So, as you may all know I am an iPhone user. I found a new app today for driving to and from work. I have used the GPS, to go to and from work, but the MINI already knows how to do that drive. No real changes to worry about on a daily basis. I also have the V1 to help mitigate the speeding problems! But the drive seems to be the same day after day. No real enjoyment.
Today I read about an app for the iphone called “aha”. It is basically a social networking app for drivers. It will allow you to record short shout outs about traffic or anything else you want to talk about. It will also help you locate food if you are looking for it. Gives you the traffic report and a few other features. I am going to give it a try.

The time has come that the MINI needed new tires. So after a fair bit O research on the internets I thought I had found the tire for me. Bu alas they didn’t come in the size I needed. So it was back to the drawing board for me. After a bit more time I decided to go with the Nitto Neogens.
Headed to the local tire shop to get some pricing and do the deal. I paid my money and the order was placed. To my dismay I had to wait a few days for the tires to arrive as they were not a tire stocked at the local branch.
Got the call today thatthe tires were in and I could come and get them installed. So I took my lunch and get them put on. So far they seem to be nice. Haven’t put more than 3 miles on them thus far, but I did really notice how much quieter they are. I givethem a better test on the drive home today.
So it is that time again. The rubber on the MINI has almost completely worn off. So it is time to replace it. I have purchased a set of Nitto NeoGens and they should be her on Monday. I will get some Pics when they are installed.
So I am out here in VA for work. Seems that I may be out here every once in a while as the majority of our servers are in a datacenter here. So far it has been a good trip.
So I have changed jobs to further fund my MINI obsession. I am now working at Omniture in Orem. I have to say that I really enjoyed my last 4 years at the Nielsen company, but it was time for a chang. I was able to pass the Nielsen torch to Sean which he should enjoy.
I am really enjoying the new challenge even though it has only been two days. I will try to keep the blogespher up to date.
